This aikido scholarship was created in memory of our friend and Aikido of Westchester instructor, Pat Dougherty. Its goal is to provide affordable memberships to youths and adults from local underserved and low-income communities, who desire to learn Aikido but can not afford the cost of the membership due to financial hardships.

If you think that you fit this category and have a strong desire to dedicate a minimum of 3 classes per week to learn Aikido, please fill and submit this scholarship application.

Aikido of Westchester welcomes everyone and does not discriminate on the basis of race, creed, color, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender expression, age, height, weight, physical or mental ability.
